It wouldn't be me if I did not partake on the summer camping adventures. I can't wait for the prompts to drop tonight and then procrastinate on them (most likely) until the very last minute. It's my favourite worldbuilding tradition!
Homework #1
This year, as every single year before, we are doing all of the prompts, no matter how many there will be in the end. So at least 40! My primary focus will be to work on Daring Escapades world and finally exposing it to public - hence why this article lives here and not on my other miriad of worlds. But if I have ideas for some of my other projects, I don't think I will stop writing nonsense no matter what.
As far as homepage and CSS and all of that goes, for now I want to keep things as simple as possible. I miss the "good old worldanvil times" lately so I want to push my creativity with BBCodes first before I get distracted with any of the advanced design features here.
Homework #2
Distracted and unfocused is my super power, but this year I really want to work on places, people and abilities that are key for playtesting and putting together a bunch of fun one shot adventures set in this world, that would serve as a nice and concise sample of what this project is all about.
No promises though!
I decided to work more on our joined project with Dark Hobbit because it somehow seems like less pressure to play around with someone elses world and ideas, then to just relly on my nonsense. I do think it will be a very fun experiment this year.
Homework #3
I plan to do better this year and not just marathon it the very last minute, but I know myself and the fact that I rougly need only 30mins per article to write enough material to make the required wordcount. So either you will see new articles every day, or I will be relying on the last 2 days to write 10 hours each, oops xD
My routine used to be log into worldanvil once I am able to access my computer during the day and just see what my brain does. Unfortunately, the new UI is absolutely tragic for my creative process so I will have to find a different place to go write my articles before I try to put them on here and submit them to the challenge.
Homework #4
The main goal is to prepare Daring Escapades for their kickstarter and hopefully launch a fun new ttrpg for people to try! I need to build up a solid foundation of the most important articles - geography, character creation and combat areas.
Summer Camp Progress
Themes & prompts
Spring: Love
Love doesn't have to be romantic, and it definitely doesn't have to be between people (patriotism, hobbies...). Before continuing, take a moment to think about various manifestations of love in your world.

Summer: Growth
Summer brings warmth and sunlight, and with it, nature grows to its full splendor! But "growth" doesn't apply to only plants and animals. People grow intellectually, cities grow in size, and a faction's influence can grow to reach every corner of society. So what kinds of things are known for having grown recently in your world?

Autumn: Loss
When autumn comes around, leaves turn golden and fall—a symbol of loss, this week's theme! Loss can refer to death, but just like how trees don't die when they lose their leaves, this theme can be about so many other things! A lost language or culture, a forgotten relic, or a ritual honoring ancestors are also related to loss. Spend some time thinking about this theme and how it applies to your area of focus.

Winter: Family
Winter is a cold season, but throughout many cultures this has created in-door cozy festivals and celebrations with family. Family doesn't have to be biological (what about found family?), and it can refer to a variety of different things! A family of plants or languages, tight-knit communities, pantheons... What do families look like in your area of focus, and which other meanings of "family" can you find in your world?
