Sunset Isles

You can tell you are nearing this cluster of islands before you even arrive at port. Sunset Isles is an archipelago of six big islands and a couple of small ones that appear to be like a chain extending over the horizon. Since most people arrive there sailing from Sol Meridia, they are also positioned to the west, which means that all you have to do to find them is to just keep following the sunset. Conveniently the architecture of this place supports the naming as most of the buildings are made out of yellow and orange clay which makes them appear to be slightly glowing when the sun starts setting low.
The two biggest islands are positioned near the center of the island chain, often called mother and father, next to the father are rather rugged looking middle islands, nicknamed grandma and grandpa - while the mother island is mostly surrounded by the clusters of small islands and settlement, referred to as children. The islanders in a conversation would frequently use these familial terms to signify where they hail from and where they are planning to go next, wether just for trade or pleasure or work.
The people settled here are considered to be very warm hearted and welcoming to all travellers, however it is extremely hard to become one of the locals or be considered as such. Marriages with outsiders are extremely rare and friendship run rarely so deep that you would be welcomed at the hearth. It almost seems like htey are guarding their homes form something, something never spoken out loud. Maybe there is some sort of a past grievance or maybe just a superstition about the people who come in here to seek trade or shelter. Still, their local food and hospitality is worth sampling if you happen to travel nearby.
