Nailah

Nailah is a god of life. They do not have a gender and are depicted as natural forces instead of people, for example they are sometimes depicted as a swirl of water with a vague humanoid siluet in it. Nailah is one of the oldest gods in the Elevasi religion.

Eawdalay nights or the nights of the returning souls are the two nights celebrating Nailah each year. During the Full Ternion Apraxians celebrate the recently desieced and the souls of the dead rejoining us. It is believed that during this night the souls of the unborn enter the mothers womb.   The holiday honours those that died in the last 5 months and those that are pregnant or trying to get pregnant. People visit the graves of the deceased and a ceremony is held to send the spirits on their way. Pregnant people visit priests to get symbols of the moons on their bellies.   Alcohol is forbidden on the night but many harthy pies are given out. Music is played as part of the festivities the whole night.
