Math Mathonwy (Maa-th Maa-thon-way)

Math Mathonwy is the goddess of magic and trickery.  Formerly a sorceress-queen of great reknown, Math was famed for her enchanted castle in which invisible servants attended her every need.  Although there were some nasty rumours that these servants were the spirits of innocents she had lured to serve at her feet, this has never actually been proven.
Despite this, Math undoubtedly never takes any action that does not directly benefit herself, and those that worship her do so in the full understanding that she grants them power to elevate herself as a deity, not in any inherent interest in their well-being.
Math Mathonwy tricked her way into the realms of the gods, gaining power through an ascension many thought impossible.  As such, she if often worshipped by those who deal in shady deals and confidence scams, as well as those dedicated to the pursuit of more powerful magics.
Math Math Mathonwy is most often seen in her original form of a human woman, but has two oft used alternate forms as a gnome and as a dark elf.
