Blackwoods
A tiny fortified village snugged up to the south end of the Bour Forest, Blackwoods is some distance from the convenience of the Great East Road. Almost equidistant between South Byshirom and Turner's Spring, it is sometimes used as a stopping point- but the inconvenience of getting to it usually wipes out any rest you would achieve by stopping there.
Almost everyone in the village is involved with the cutting and processing of the distinctly dark wood that gives the village it's name- an innately magical wood prized by the wizards of West Bour and further afield.
