Ranged Weapons

Ranged weapons have existed before, but became most prevalent post the Age of Leviathans due to access to the Surface, where vast distances can be seen at once and these kind of weapons can utilize their full potential. The Guns discovered prior in the Age of Industry however still threatened their wielders with Black Powder Poisoning even in open space.
An advanced and non-poisonous version of Guns are Spell Guns. These are loaded with Spell Scrolls, which essentially means that they enable casting of ranged attack Magic without the need to be a Mage.
