Magicbirth

The birth of a new species is always a joyous occassion many Researchers look forward to. Magicbirth is the phenomenon that happens when certain creatures next to each other fuse into a new type of creature. This Magicbirth usually happens in areas of sudden, violent arcane surges. Many have tried to replicate the arcane surges to create species of their own, but so far there's been no such success. Some of our most renowned Wizards suspect these arcane surges happen when The Weave gets entangled in specific places due to several high level spells being cast simultaneously in many different places of the world. The experiments showed that these high level spells do tend to put some minor strain onto The Weave when released, resulting in the threads to resonate in a wavelike pattern. When multiple of these waves clash that's when they "clap" together into an arcane surge. Generally the consensus is that intentionally creating a surge like this is as difficult as making two invisible and incredibly tiny things clash, due to the sheer complexity and density of The Weave.

Manifestation

A sudden, bright, and colorful explosion of arcane dust that then collects in the middle, pulling everything around it towards it, like a heartbeat that bends the earth like a vacuum. Once all the dust collects in the middle it shoots out in all directions a final time. The dust then starts falling towards the ground as it slowly fades away. The phenomena doesn't hurt anything, but it does magically alter the area where it happens.
