Dragonborn (drægənbɔːn)
Dragonborn were the first magicborn creatures. They hatch from eggs.
Basic Information
Biological Traits
They have scale colors and different glands based on their . Each dragonborn falls into one of the subspecies of dragonborn, which are:
- Chromatic Dragonborn - black, blue, green, red, and white. These dragonborn are sometimes called "noble" dragonborn, due to their ancestors being Dragons originating from the surface.
- Metallic Dragonborn - brass, bronze, copper, gold, silver. Their ancestors being Dragons originating from the Underdark.
Genetics and Reproduction
They hatch from eggs. They can only reproduce with other Dragonborn or hatch from a Dragon egg that's slightly exposed to Blood Crystals.
Growth Rate & Stages
Their bodies constantly grow until they reach about 50.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Omnivores, although they usually prefer foods related to their breath weapons. For example a red dragonborn's taste buds like hot food, while a black dragonborn likes acidic foods.
