Genasi

Genasi (comes from "egen ashi" - roughly translates to element given) are a species of magicborn that come from pregnant Humans that were overwhelmingly exposed to one type of Air, Earth, Fire, or Water-based Magic.
They are often excluded due to causing trouble via their element (for example a Fire Genasi could accidentally burn down a village), or due to their outlandish behavior (for example an Earth Genasi showing other children a bad example by eating dirt) and find themselves living a solitary life or with other Genasi.

Biological Traits

There are four subspecies of Genasi known to us: Air, Earth, Fire, and Water.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They don't consume nutrition, instead they feed themselves via absorbing their elemental from things. For example a Fire Genasi would eat flames for sustenance, an Air Genasi would breathe in deeply, an Earth Genasi would eat rocks, and a Water Genasi would drink water.
