Gnome (ŋoːm)
Gnomes were the first known mixed species. They inherited the shortness of Dwarves, but also the lankiness of Elves, so they were horrible fighters. Partially because of this, gnomes often found themselves living a nomadic life, traveling from one place to another, searching for their kin. Thankfully nowadays you have alternate ways of success through machines and magic, so gnomes are slowly becoming more respected than before.

Biological Traits
Each gnome falls into one of the subspecies of gnomes, which are:
- Road Gnome (also known as Forest Gnome) - the most widespread of gnome subspecies, the road gnomes often travel from one place to another, and live in small nomadic communities. They have diverse looks, if you aren't sure what subspecies a gnome is, they are likely a road gnome.
- Mountain Gnome (also known as Rock Gnome) - these gnomes settled down among the Dwarves of the mountains, and often worked as their apprentices. They are known to be rather good Artisans, due to having an extra joint on their fingers.
- Deep Gnome - gnomes that traveled the Underdark. Their skin has darkened due to exposure to Night Leaves, however the hostile conditions of the place has also made them quite tough.
