Druidic Circle of the Secret Keepers

The Druidic Circle of the Secret Keepers aims to heal history and those affected by erasing knowledge and memories that would otherwise harm the world. Their apprentices wander the regions and grow their connection to nature by erasing memories of those affected by traumatic events, while the leaders and other more capable members act as a global force erasing knowledge of events that could spiral civilizations and possibly even dalikind to doom. Being the only ones who have to live on with "forbidden knowledge" in their mind, they have to have incredibly resilient and dedicated personalities.
We will probably never know how many things we have lost due to these self-righteous druids. Who knows how many ancient secrets have been discovered only to then have them taken away from us simply because the knowledge was deemed too dangerous.
— An outraged researcher

Structure

Anyone who becomes a Druid, joins the circle, and aligns them with their view starts as an Apprentice. Apprentices are tasked with healing the minds of individuals. They grow their connection to nature and the circle by seeking out those hurt by their memories and then erasing them. These apprentices are most usually sought out by their patients or their closed ones.   Once a member is powerful enough to stand their own against most monsters, mages, and soldiers they advance into Keeper. Keepers are tasked with erasing knowledge that is considered harmful by the Circle itself. They are free to roam the lands in order to search for it, but most often than not the Keepers are contacted by the higher ups in cases where they can be utilized.   Those that can stand against nations, guilds, and the powerful monsters on their own are called Guardians. They almost always already carry forbidden knowledge with themselves and use these unknown powers to overcome those that might stand in their way. Not many tend to reach this status in their lifetime, due to the sheer amount of combat prowess needed in order to stand against an entire government themselves. Guardians travel the lands to seek forbidden knowledge and take care of it themselves or call the Keepers if the opposition is not too powerful.   Above all others are the Wardens. The Wardens basically have to be carrying a lot of - or some major - secrets that let them reach the ability to stand not only against legendary adventurers, but possibly even deities. Their entire being is erased from history in order to keep the secrets they have learned forever hidden. Wardens make sure that catastrophic events that threaten the existence of dalikind are taken care of, and that powers too dangerous to the universe are kept at bay.

Culture

Having lived several lives through the memories of others, the Secret Keepers live a life of duty where they slowly grow astrange to their sense of self. Following a call to heal the wounds of the world, they eventually grow into becoming the last line of defense against chaos. They manipulate not only individuals, but history itself to protect life from extinction.

Public Agenda

The agenda of the Secret Keepers stands starkly against those wishing for academic freedom. Hiding behind their sense of duty and protection of nature, the Secret Keepers amass a vast amount of knowledge that they then take away from the minds of others. Contrary to what they preach, they do not stand for the individual as there's been plenty of catastrophic events not even touched by the Secret Keepers. Those that oppose their existence often emphasize that the Secret Keepers merely hoard certain types of powers in order to exert their will and ideas on the entire universe.

Psst - just do you know, the Like button is missing. I don't know if it's intentional, or if it has been consumed by some CSS. :)

Managed to CSS it back into a kind of bad looking spot, I CSS'd all stuff (competition entry, buttons) that appeared above my global content footer and the like button got caught in the crossfire This is probably the best I can do without the developers agreement to move misc stuff below the global content footer. Thank you for telling me, as I had no way to check how those buttons appear other than making a second account to look at it on!

This is very interesting! What a heavy burden this can become to someone. I'd be interested to hear about some individual members to the circle and how they cope! Also beautiful page layout!
