Alimala (ɒlimɒlɒ)
Alimala is a settlement built along the walls of the eastern entrance of the Iron Slopes. There are a few bridges criss-crossing from one side to another and generally the town itself is found several feet above the slopes, at height where dali often die if they fall down, especially as we go deeper in.
Demographics
It's a small town of few citizen.
Government
Some of their members still hold values of Damva Refuge, and are often seen as a quite rebellious settlement.
Defences
The settlement is incredibly dangerous for its dali - it's hard to climb, the roads are narrow and one side of them usually leads to a fall of death. The Guards also have outposts on strategic points where they can easily shoot out from.
Districts
The North Wall - is a district of the buildings dug into one side (the northern side) of the slopes.
The South Wall - is a district of the buildings dug into another side (the south side) of the slopes.
The Bridges - the bridges connecting the North Wall and the South Wall are considered to be their own "middle" district due to their length. Sometimes crossing between sides can take up to a day, so it's not uncommon to find dali trading and living on the bridges.
Guilds and Factions
Not much is known.
History
The settlement itself was built for political reasons, during the uncertain times right after Ironcamp got vassalized by the Violet Throne. It was initially built as a system of outposts in a hard-to-capture location, but eventually the Guards began living here and moving their families over.
Its defenses were tested during the Mizzrym - Ozr'ink debate whereby the Mizzryms used this settlement as a chokepoint during the second half of the war. Many battles were worn here for them, and they ultimately never tried to reconquer it once the Ozr'inks broke through.
