Basic Information
Anatomie
The Graaloks are characterised by a robust and strong physique. Their broad shoulders and muscular arms are marked with numerous scars and rough, scaly textures that reflect their demonic origins. The chest of the Graaloks is broad and massive, their back muscles are also well developed and give them an imposing appearance. Their hands end in powerful claws that are as sharp as daggers and perfect for close combat. Their legs are also muscular and strong and carry their massive bodies effortlessly. Their skin is thick and tough, which protects them from injury and gives them a certain resistance to external influences.
Genetik und Vermehrung
The Graaloks reproduce like most other demon races. They need life energy, which they obtain from the blood of their enemies. They store this energy within themselves. As soon as they have reached a certain amount, they can enter the Incubarium and transfer this life energy to their breeding grounds, where new Graaloks then grow.
Wachstumsrate & -stadien
Like all demons, the Graaloks have no natural growth. They can only grow in size and strength during the Incubarium. During this process, they absorb some of the life energy to be transferred, which increases their strength and grows their body.

They do not have a favoured habitat or ecosystem, but feel most comfortable in warm places.
Ernährung und Gewohnheiten
The Graaloks procure their life energy in the many battles that take place between the various factions within the Black Lands. They have no special strategies or ways and means of obtaining it. After battles, they eat the corpses of their enemies and consume their blood, which gives them the life energy they need. As they are one of the weaker demon races, they often have to subordinate themselves to the other demons when it comes to prey.
Behaviour
The Graaloks show no sympathy towards their enemies and regard them merely as a potential source of new life energy. Their behaviour towards enemies is accordingly aggressive and geared towards fighting. They show no particular affection or antipathy towards other conspecifics, but simply accept them as part of their species. However, they respect the hierarchy and balance of power within their community. Co-operation with other Graaloks is mainly for pragmatic reasons. They are extremely submissive towards most other demon races, as these are superior to them in strength and power.

Soziale Strukturen
The Graaloks follow a hierarchical social structure characterised by strength and battle experience. At the top of this hierarchy are the most powerful and experienced Graaloks, often referred to as champions, who lead their fellow conspecifics into battle. Below them, the Graaloks are ranked according to their battle experience, their success in battle and their service to the Citadel. Older and more experienced Graaloks hold a higher position of power and enjoy a certain amount of respect. Younger and less experienced Graaloks are guided and trained by the older and more battle-hardened ones. They have to prove themselves in battles and demonstrate their strength in order to rise in the hierarchy.
Gesichtszüge
The faces of the Graaloks are characterised by a dark and intimidating appearance. They have striking facial features that are often scarred. Several sharp horns sit on their broad, bulky skulls, protruding menacingly from their foreheads and cheeks. The eyes of the Graaloks often glow a deep red colour and their gaze is penetrating and full of grim determination. Deep eye sockets lie beneath their eyebrows, giving their faces a sombre expression. Their broad noses are often slightly flattened, giving their faces a certain animalism. Their mouths are armed with sharp, dagger-like teeth, which stand out threateningly when they grin menacingly.
Geographische Herkunft und Verbreitung
The Graaloks are mainly found in the Black Lands, as this is where most battles take place and where the demons' centres of power are located. In addition to the Black Lands, they are also strongly represented in the Barren Lands compared to other demon races.
Durchschnittliche Intelligenz
The Graaloks are not characterised by outstanding intelligence. They have limited mental capacities and are instinct-driven rather than rational. Their thinking is simple and focussed on the fulfilment of basic needs and war. They are able to perform simple tasks and follow instructions, but complex strategies or planning are beyond them.
Wahrnehmung und sensorische Fähigkeiten
Their eyesight allows them to orientate themselves in the dark surroundings of the Black Lands and recognise potential threats early on. Their hearing is sufficient to detect warning signals and follow communications with other demons, but is not overly sensitive or precise. The Graaloks' sense of smell is also averagely developed, allowing them to identify conspecifics and other demons in their immediate vicinity. However, they do not possess remarkable olfactory abilities to detect subtle nuances or distant odours.

Common names are Dozgon, Dalvural, Ogimos, Megthez, Ingrorog, Izrerol, Borgaz, Jarzuneg, Bulvir and Agdrad.

The Graaloks form the backbone of demonic society in the Realm of Kagdranoth. As the largest and most numerous of all demon races, they are present in almost all aspects of daily life and also form the main force in the campaigns and military operations of the various factions. Their sheer numbers allow the devils to unleash them in great swarms upon the enemy, overwhelming the ranks with their brute force and unbridled brutality. In the turmoil of battle, the Graaloks demonstrate their strength and tenacity, often being the first to charge into battle and the last to retreat. They are vital to the defence and expansion of the factions. In addition to war, they are also used on building sites, in mines and for the production of simple items.
Sprachgruppen und Dialekte
They only use the standard demonic language to communicate with each other and with other demon races. Due to their lack of intelligence, they only use a simplified form of it, which is limited to the bare essentials. Their language is often coarse and direct, without much room for nuance or subtlety.

The skin of the Graaloks is robust and hardy, often a deep red or dark red colour reminiscent of dried blood. It has a leathery texture and is criss-crossed with scars and rune decorations.
