The Inquisition (The-In-Quizz-Ish-On)

The Most Tenacious and Devoted Inquisition of St. Cleihart, known colloquially as The Inquisition or the "Flock of the Zealous", are an itinerant inquisitorial religious order devoted to the teachings of St. Cleihart the Zealous, a Kasamid Saint whos gospel revolves around smiting evil and ensuing order is upheld above all else. Known for their signature blackened armour and use of bludgeoning weapons in combat, the Inquisition is a force to be reckoned with throughout Dagan.
During the chaotic, hectic and destructive time of the Abyssal Invasions (AP 1377-1399), a number of Kasam worshippers gravitated to more radical gospels to stop the upheaval. While most of the other lawful deity congregations acted in a reactionary manner (saving those affected after the fact etc), the growing Cleihartine congregation proposed an active manner (stopping "daemonic forces" before they could do anything). It was an enticing ideal, and the Flock of the Zealous grew by the day. However, as the Abyssal Invasions began to ravage Dagan, many Cleihartines joined up with their local armies to fight the Demons and stayed to protect the innocent. Those who fully devoted themselves to Saintly Militias (dedicated to punishing chaotic influences at home) would become the foot-soldiers of the Inquisition when the order was officially founded during the "Gathering of the Flock" in AP 1400.
The history of the Inquisition can be split into two broad phases; the initial "Popular" phase and the current "Tribunal" phase which began with Arch-Legate Konrad de Drago's "Glorious Reforms" in AP 1520 where the Inquisition was made an official organ of the Kasamid Church. Before this point, 
Due to its supposed work combating evil, many governments allow the Inquisition to do whatever is necessary to find their quarry. However, in practice, this privilege has been abused time and again by Inquisitors around the world of Dagan. • Various groups of impoverished peoples within cities (for the chaotic sin of not having money)
• Members of the Solarian Church
• Soldiers from state militaries (though it is uncertain whether they'd win those fights consistently)
• Tieflings

• The "Azrhedites" of the Church of Azrhed cult led by Dr Salazar C Azrhed
