The Gifting Tree

This ancient oak tree stands tall amongst the surrounding fields and forests within the Vale of Cwydd.
Local Northmen hang presents and gifts for the departed on the tree, honouring the ancient tradition of the husband who planted the tree for his deceased wife millenia ago.
Many species of birds and other creatures of the sky visit this culturally significant place, making their nests high among the boughs and branches of the old oak.
