Sage's Rest

Sage's Rest is famous around Daënfel for its wizarding academy, where young casters go to learn the ways of magic and channel their powers.
Around the academy has sprung a large trading post, as the site is where the majority of the Plainsmen who live within the expansive grasslands of the Steppe go to sell their horses - the finest in Daënfel.
Because of this, many of the wizarding families of the continent have a strong presence here, as their children go to school and the parents watch the horse races or enjoy the luxuries of trade that pass through the town.
During the The Second Federation War the town was occupied by Federation forces for a year. A whole generation of wizarding teens were butchered and the surrounding populations scarred forever.
