"The Century Long War". This marks the bloodiest period of Daënfel's history since the Conquest, as multiple incursions are made by the Federation in ruthless attacks that hammered the Empire's economy.   Some of the most notable events of the war were the sacking of Port Montague which was destroyed early in the war and a naval blockade that was put around Helias for decades which starved the population and led to riots. The occupation of Sage's Rest was a particularly memorable event, as it was attacked by river and held for a year, as raiders swept across the continent striking fear into the hearts of the common people.   After decades of uneasy tension with little conflict towards the end of the war a ceasefire between the two civilizations was called, which remains to this day.   The Federation rejoins the politics of Daënfel through diplomatic ambassadors decades later.
