The Dark Mere

The Dark Mere was a swamp in northwest Faerûn, 30 miles north of the small town of Blasingdell. This swamp stood at the foot of The Stone Tooth, a forested southern peak of the The Spine of The World range. It surrounded a network of tunnels known as the Sourscale Warrens.

Kobolds from the Sourscale Warrens were known to leave slayed creatures in its brackish waters to "pickle" them for a while before eating.
