Ghared Character in D&D Forgotten Realms | World Anvil

Ghared

Ghared is a Duergar who is tasked with guarding the Great Hall within The Foundry of Khundrukar. She is suspicious, greedy, and arrogant, but not stupid.

Ghared was born a slave to the The Skullcrusher Clan , a tribe of Gray Dwarves known for their exceptional cruelty and greed. From a young age, she was trained in the arts of stealth and assassination, her natural cunning and quick reflexes making her a valuable asset to her masters.

Despite the hardships she faced, Ghared never let her circumstances defeat her. She used her skills to survive, and eventually, to thrive. She rose through the ranks, becoming one of the The Skullcrusher Clan's most trusted and feared assassins. She was the person they turned to when they needed a problem taken care of, no matter how dangerous or difficult the task may be. And Amara never failed.

Despite her fearsome reputation, Ghared was not immune to the ravages of time. As she grew older, she began to feel the weight of all the lives she had taken. She began to question the choices she had made and the person she had become. But there was no escape for Ghared. She was a slave, bound to be a Duergar for life. And so, she eventually pledged herself to the powerful warrior Nimira, who kept her as a personal assassin. When Nimira broke from The Skullcrusher Clan and moved to the stronghold of Khundrukar, Ghared went too.
