Origin Cycle

The time before time.
Before the creation of the universe as it is known...
What existed?
Was it another world?
Did it go through endless cycles as Tilinium does now?
Was it just another cycle in this endless one, so dissolved that no proof of it yet exists?
Where are their ghosts?
Where are their souls?
If it they are now void and naught...
What of us?

Whatever existed before the Origin Cycle is not known. Even the assumed length of 100 years is untraceable in its assertion repeated with no known origin to the claim. Nothing about the cycle is truly known but for the mythology that is shared on it.
This cycle is claimed to be the first cycle of Tilinium. It was described as the beginning, when only the Origin God existed. Even the Embodied Gods had not yet been born. Many believe that the origin god grew our world in her womb, in a deep slumber as she did so.
Time, as mortals understand it, did not exist during the Origin Cycle. Place, as mortals understand it, did not exist either, as there was nowhere but the Origin God. These concepts are beyond any scholar's hope to reach, but they are the nature of the universe at this point. It was not until the Embodied Gods rose from the restless slumber of our great mother goddess did the next cycle begin, and the continual renewal of the world ever since.
