The newly appointed Commander, elevated through a battlefield promotion, wastes no time on decorum. His methods are unrefined but ruthlessly effective. With Isla Roca secured, UEC operations now shift outward. Across the Americas, multiple factions threaten stabilization efforts—some entrenched in local power structures, others roaming as insurgents or self-declared states. Each poses unique tactical challenges, from guerrilla warfare to technological subversion. Personnel deployed beyond the island should expect hostile engagements and rapidly shifting conditions.

Orphan Insurgency

Only small skirmishes and rapid ambushes have occurred so far, but our intelligence indicates a much larger network concealed somewhere to the north. Clinging to the relics of a lost identity as United States soldiers, they are expected to pose a growing obstacle as reclamation efforts continue. Though their technology is nearly a century obsolete, they’ve repurposed it in ways we did not anticipate. These tricks and improvisations can only take them so far, however, and we remain confident we will drive them back and eliminate the threat with minimal resistance.

Interfectum Assassinations

It is no longer a question of whether these cold-blooded assassins exist—only a question of when they will strike again. The killing of Commander Allen Nero dealt a significant blow to our operations in the Americas, but we will not allow them another opportunity like that again. Enhanced screening protocols are now in effect, and global efforts are underway to locate and bring all conspirators to justice.

These individuals are considered extremely dangerous. Until effective identification methods are finalized, you must assume anyone could be a sleeper agent. Whether triggered neurologically or activated by an undetected scientific mechanism remains unknown. What is certain is this: your best friend from the enlistment office—the one you’ve served beside for years—could turn on you in an instant with the right command. Remain alert and follow protocol.

They have been observed wielding advanced technologies and bionics capable of subtly bending physical laws—tricks that, while limited, present serious tactical challenges. Do not waste time with precision fire against targets equipped with stealth systems. Use explosives and overwhelming force. They prioritize high-value targets, making recovering their equipment last priority. Neutralize with extreme prejudice, and immediately report any confirmed contact to your commanding officer.

Beauregard Slavers

Masters of the plow, they’ve built a thriving agricultural hub in the shadow of apocalypse. While their methods are unacceptable by Concordat standards, their infrastructure serves our needs as we establish operations in the region. Limited trade has begun strictly off the record to avoid scrutiny from command. In exchange for surplus arms, we receive fresh produce, livestock, and supplies.
Their use of slavery masked as capital punishment will eventually force a confrontation. For now, they’re eager for support, and we will maintain the illusion of alliance until the time comes to act.

Comanche Hit and Run Attacks

Even with our most advanced drones, the attacks remain impossible to anticipate. How they stay a step ahead is still unclear—but they’ve killed several of our own, and we’ve yet to confirm a single injury in return. Some claim we have yet to even truly see one.
They move like shadows through the chaotic terrain left behind by the Genesis Engines, striking silently from range, much like their ancestors. Unlike their ancestors, however, they now wield modern tools to do it. If you hear a single shot but are not hit STOP. It may be a warning, and heeding it could save your life.

Nords Local Militia

Their staunch anti-slavery stance is admirable, but inconvenient. Orders are to restrict contact while evaluating potential collaboration. The Beauregards will eventually need to be removed and framing it as a local resolution would serve us well in media narrative. We could later legitimize it by offering UEC-backed land contracts and colonial support if they learn to play ball.
However, if they choose instead to revive ties with their former Orphan allies, we are prepared to leverage the slavers against them. Let the conflict wear down both sides until we are ready to eliminate the remnants. One way or another, we intend to control the outcome.

Cartel Activity

Holding much of the Gulf of Mexico and the Panama Canal, these insurgents played a pivotal role in the assault on Isla Roca. Their grip on key logistical chokepoints remains a direct threat to regional stability and UEC operations across the hemisphere. Commander Barrow has committed two of three active fronts to seizing their territory and ousting them once and for all.
Cancún has been designated as a primary staging ground for ground forces, offering suitable terrain and infrastructure for rapid deployment. Repairing Panama Canal operations under Concordat control remains a top priority—vital for strategic movement and as a symbolic anchor for continental unification.
El Nuevo Legado has claimed independence and denied involvement. While under review, their holdings in former Texas lie outside current UEC interests, and no immediate resources will be diverted to verify their assertions.

Global Terrorists

Alexander Blake (left) and James Cannon (right) are wanted for high treason following their involvement in the assassination of Commander Nero. Both individuals are armed with stolen classified technologies deemed highly dangerous to Concordat personnel and infrastructure. They have gone completely off-grid, evading all conventional tracking methods.
They are capable of radically altering their appearance and physical form by re-casing their brains into an array of bionic chassis. This makes positive identification extraordinarily difficult, and direct engagement is not recommended without overwhelming force. They are to be considered active threats until confirmed neutralized.

Post Commander and acting PTF Director Clark Barrow received the promotion of a lifetime following the assassination of his former mentor, Allen Nero. Trained long ago to suppress emotion, Barrow has spoken only through action—waging a scorched-earth campaign across the Americas in the days that followed. Though never lacking in ambition, the sudden shift in power has left him isolated and uncertain, despite his years of preparation.
Cut out of Nero’s long-term strategy for the region, Barrow now relies on familiar tactics while attempting to piece together the broader design. He knows he lacks his predecessor’s aura—and that he is far more vulnerable to a second attempt. That knowledge has bred paranoia, which now fuels a work ethic that borders on self-destruction. He drives both his body and nanites to the brink, determined to fill the void left in Nero’s wake.
