The Quintessons are a bizarre and ancient race, whose dark history and shadowy machinations are bound up with the history of the Transformers, with connections to both Primus and Unicron. A mechanical race. There are three distinct versions of the race. The Judges egged shaped with multiple faces that all seem independent from each other that floats above the ground on a column of visible energy, the Prosecutors/Inquisitors that have three sets squid-like arms, an elongated square head, and simple legs, and the scientist caste that have egged shaped bodies but a singular face unlike the Judges.

The scientists have the most intelligence only because the Judges many personalities create conflict. The prosecuters are intelligent make decisions but always defer to the Judges over all other concerns.
