Summer Camp Madness 2019 in Curse You | World Anvil

Summer Camp Madness 2019

Primary Mission

The Summer Camp of 2018 was one of the funnest and craziest experiences in writing marathons I have ever had. The results are not much, but I am pretty proud of myself for what I have done. And then... life happened... and brought destruction in its wake. As it usually does. Long story short everything went to shit an entire year has flown by and I find myself completely drained, unmotivated and not writing at all on weeks - and months - on end. And I hate that. I tried to jump in on some recent competitions now and again to rekindle the spark of worldbuilding in me... which did help... a bit. So my only goal for this year's Summer Camp is to find that hype again. To have so much fun doing it I will never want to quit making up weird stuff on the internet ever again.

Secondary Missions

Going back to my Saphiros world feels too intimidating as I know that all of the articles over there need more work, so I have decided to take it easy on myself and work on one of my older projects - which is Curse You, a fantasy mystery set in the first-Czechoslovakian-Republic-kind-of-world. If I don't have the courage to polish Saphiros, I have this new playground set up and as a third option - in case writing in English seems too hard - I want to work some more on my Firefly campaign I will hopefully be running in late August.

Tertiary Missions

I want to up my art game (which is none to speak of) - you guys are out there doing such cool stuff I wanna do it too! But I can't, so I hoarded all the art books from the library I could and maybe I'll draw better by the end of this crazy wonderful July. And CSS won't sound like an insult thrown at my face. (And the proverbial cherry on the cake might be the Berlin meet up. I really want to go, but it's still in the stars.)
