Lockstitch is the god of life, medicine, and technology. When the world was new, he and his wife, Mama Black sought to add something of their own to it. He took the earth and melded it together with the air and the sea to create life. His wife, delighted in his creation, planted a spirit within it and it began to move and breathe. When they were finished, Cultivo was covered in beauty and life. When Lorem granted knowledge to the mortals, Lockstitch found it appropriate to grant them knowledge of medicine.
