Asteriad is a city in the kingdom of Boreath. Asteriad was the location where the First Emperor first made landfall, and is considered by some to have been the first capital of the Mariscine Empire. Today, Asteriad makes most of its money from trade and from religious tourism, since many Mariscine nobles make pilgimages to Imperial Rock as a rite of passage.
