Petropod

Description

Petropods are the ultimate beasts of burden. Due to the difficulty of morphing a Petrock to this level, they're viewed as status symbols and are often found transporting high-profile people. Petropods are especially popular among wealthy merchants for their ability to both pull a cart and protect from brigands. Like Petrodons, their markings are also an extension of those they were given as Petrocks.

Combat

Petropods have low stat totals for a third-stage metamorphosis, but their durability is good nonetheless. Their main benefit is their size, which allows them to block off chokepoints on the battlefield. A Petropod will use ability this to cut off enemies from engaging squishier allies and force them to deal with it first. Undound Petropods are rare, so their actual tactics will vary, depending on who is commanding them.

• This cryture can be ridden by people of a smaller size than itself. The rider occupies the same space as the cryture.
