Orerok

Description

In its more mature state, an Orerok usually give up its prankster nature, instead choosing a group of smaller crytures to "protect." Although an Orerok's presence is usually tolerated for the protection they offer, they often display coddling behaviors that annoy the crytures under their care. Most common is the tendency to rub their slimy faces against those crytures. This has led conjurers to believe that Oreroks choose which crytures to protect based on which ones they find cute.

Combat

Oreroks are the first to charge into melee and engage the enemy. They do everything they can to engage as many foes as possible to keep the focus on them and away from the crytures they're protecting. An Orerok will prefer to defend its allies before all else, but will beef itself up whenever it feels that its friends are safe for the moment.
