Knump
Description
Knumps are rarely found without a conjurer, but when they are, they're probably leading a group of unbound Squmpers on patrol around a town or village. More commonly, they are found as close companions to veteran militia conjurers, who were given them as a standard issue Squmper after their training. Like most synthetic crytures, Knumps are also prone to being customized by their owners, and often sport decorations carved or painted onto them to display allegiance or celebrate victories.Combat
A Knump will naturally do its best to create a buffer between its owner and any enemies. It will engage as many foes as possible to keep its charge out of the fray, relying on its high Deflection to defend itself. Thanks to the Bodyguard feature, Knumps don't shy away from taking the brunt of attacks, either. Ultimately, though, they are subservient to their owners and will adopt whatever tactics they are ordered to.Features
