Boosai

Description

Boosai are best known for the copious amounts of sap that they produce from their bodies. They've been known to use this feature to befriend smaller crytures, such as Gumpillars, who have a taste for sweet food. This sap can also be used as a weapon, and Boosai will often sling it around to immobile prey, or slow down bigger threats while they escape with their little friends. Conjurers can usually tell they've entered the territory of a boosai pack by the amber goop they leave everywhere they go.

Combat

A boosai usually leads with ranged Gummy attacks to cripple a foe's movement. Once they've been gummed up, the pack will close in and focus attacks on one enemy at a time. When Gumpillars are with them, they might leave the ranged attacks to their friends and engage in melee from the beginning.
