Gaige

Created by Aivians as servants and general physical labourers and soldiers, the Gaige have quite recently awoken a Soul. Fear of retaliation from these now self-aware machines, the Startide Empire has tried to order their destruction. Much of their population refused, feeling sympathy for the Gaige. One of these is General Shokah. This extreme difference of opinions, and Shokah's susequent revolt, are responsible for the currently ongoing civil war.
