Vander Heromis Vandergash II

General Vander Heromis Vandergash was the brother of King Vander Pontifex Vandergash III and a highly decorated hero in the service of the crown of Vangash. With over 50 years of combat experience in the fight against the Crugarren Mountain hoards, he finally met his end in a routine Bugbear extermination in the year A4 998. His untimely death was the result of a sudden and unexpected turn in the battle that took his life. Despite his passing, General Vander Heromis will always be remembered as a brave and selfless warrior who dedicated his life to the protection of his kingdom and his people.

Childhood

Vander Heromis Vandergash was the oldest of four siblings, with three younger brothers. From a young age, he demonstrated a natural leadership ability and a desire to protect and defend those around him. At the age of three, he began training in sword fighting and went on to win his first sword competition at the Silver Port Blade Festival when he was nine years old. From an early age, Vander Heromis showed a strong interest in law and order, with a desire to one day defend his father, King Vander Athordus Vandergash I, and all he ruled over from atop the Crugarren Mountains.

ADOLESCENCE

As a teenager, Vander Heromis made a decisive contribution to clearing the east mountains of Crugarren. He enlisted in his father's military and quickly rose through the ranks, earning medals and accolades for his bravery and strategic skills in battle. In his first two years as a soldier, he fought in three major Bugbear battles and was decorated as a field commander. Despite his impressive military career, his father did not approve of this reckless lifestyle for his oldest son, who was one day to be king. Despite this, Vander Heromis remained determined to serve his kingdom and protect its people.

ADULTHOOD

As an adult, Vander Heromis dedicated himself to the ongoing conflict against the forces of darkness in the Crugarren Mountains. He was appointed Head General in the war effort and successfully led the armies of Vangash for over 30 years, resulting in numerous victories for the kingdom. Despite being next in line for the throne after his brother Vaxxious passed away, Vander Heromis refused the burden of the crown in order to continue serving in the military.

DEATH

In the year 4A 998, Vander Heromis was killed during a routine Bugbear extermination effort in the Crugarren Mountains. The attack was orchestrated by a mysterious human who had been responsible for organizing various "Crude Blood" tribes of different species, creating a growing threat across Cruul. Despite his many years of service and numerous victories, Vander Heromis was unable to defend himself against this sudden and unexpected assault, and was reportedly killed by an arrow to the eye. His death was a great loss to the Kingdom of Vangash and his bravery and sacrifice will always be remembered.
