Galugamug "God of Alcohol" (GA-LUG-AH-MUG)

Galuggamug is the creator Halflings and alcohol and favors drunken celebration of good aligned creatures across all of Cruul. His worshipers (mostly Dwarves) take pride in invoking his name over copious amounts of intoxicating beverage while sharing appreciation of all good things. Galuggamug is commonly saluted before partaking in alcohol and is the favorite God of drunks everywhere.   Galuggamug is often depicted as a jolly humanoid holding a large mug or flask.

  • Galuggamug never interferes with mortal issues of conflict.
  • His Clerics are semi-immune to natural poisons and only suffer drunkenness if poisoned.
  • His Clerics suffer no penalties when drunk.
  • Clerics of Galuggamug get +1 to hit and +3 to damage when drunk.
  • Clerics of Galuggamug can remove poison from 1 galleon of alcohol per-day by blessing it.
  • Good creatures who invoke Galuggamug's name before drinking have a 10% chance of receiving no ill effects or negative modifiers.
  • Galuggamug often secretly joins mortal celebrations and festivities in physical form.

Galuggamug has domain over alcohol concoctions and beverages. He is often welcomed at tables of celebration or remembrance. Almost all Dwarves honor his name during feast or festivity.

Artifacts

Common artifacts discovered across Cruul are "Mugs of Everfull" or various bottles of clerical spirits and wines.

Holy Books & Codes

Galuggamug's "Bardly Book Of Bar Songs" is a rare book containing various bar songs of unknown origin. Each song effects intoxicated people in a different way. There are Four known copies of the "bardly Book of Bar Songs" with more assumed to exist out there somewhere. It is unknown how these books where created or when they came into existence.

  • Be merry and drunken when in safe celebration.
  • Never make safe celebration less merry. 
  • Drink when your brother drinks.
  • There is no greater sin than to poison good drink.
  • Forget sober times during safe celebration.
  • Tip your barkeeper.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Galuggamug has minor goals in the Material realm, including a desire to get all living things drunk at the same time. He also desires to cleanse the Material Realm of all poisons. But above all things, his greatest goal is enhance enjoyment of those who partake in safe celebration.
