Apparition Facade

Apparition Facade was a malevolent entity trapped inside a porcelain mask that was shattered and destroyed by Ben Henry in A4 998. The mask was permanently attached to a black hooded cloak that would sometimes serve as a body for the mask when it was not being worn. When someone put on the mask, they would be forced to make a saving throw versus magic or be completely controlled by Apparition Facade. The origin of the mask and its companion are unknown, but it is believed to be related to the wicked artifacts of Dark Mother Damalah Gorpleez , who Apparition Facade served*. Apparition Facade's main defense was its ability to possess bodies that wore the mask or were unable to prevent it from attaching to their face. The mask also had a high mobility rating, giving it an AC of 1. In Session 4: The Magic Gazebo - or - Heroes vs Hororians , Ben Henry shattered the mask with a critical hit, ending the threat of Apparition Facade forever.
