One of the first operatives sent into Incaendium after the Caelestise-Sura War. He went to gather information on the shifting powers and power structures inside Incaendium - and particularly their new leader LaeLea Kanete, but was discovered by Laelea herself. She used her significant Od mastery to rewrite his mind, causing him to lose control and murder half of the Celestials in the room with him when he returned. He was eventually killed by the Sword of Paradise. His last words were Laelea's message to her enemies: I see you.

Ilan
Samael's former handler. A Debil with the ability to open pathways and create bridges and doors, which was convenient for Samael's penchent for travel. As a child, he was orphaned by bandits and taken in as a ward of Gorgo Asther, becoming an influential member of Sentry. Eventually he learned that Gorgo had executed his parents in order to get ahold of Ilan's abilities. He was killed in an attack on the Crimson Palace.
