The Endless War Begins
The concentration of power in Amaya leads to Abrazus Zozket sending his brother to Ruavine in an attempt to goad Samael. The hope was that Samael would do something foolish and give Zozket an excuse to "put him in his place."
That did happen, but it did not work out as well as Zozket might have liked. Samael killed the brother and shipped his corpse back to Zozket in a box. Zozket retaliated by attacking the capital of Amaya, Ruavine. The battle killed the parents of Samael's close friend, Astaroth, as well as Ilan, a debil who had been an important person in Samael's life.
Samael responded by declaring war.
