Primordials

The first beings of form to arise from the Wyld. Or perhaps they predated it. Or were co-terminous with it. That can never be known for sure. Desiring a respite from the chaos they were embroiled in they formed Creation atop the Wyld to live in. They created the Gods to rule Creation for them and went off to play their Games of Divinity.
The Gods would later come to resent being tasked with maintaining creation by their Primordial masters and would rebel, though indirectly. They lended their power to mortals, causing them to become the Chosen and giving them the power to rise up against the Primordials. They could not control this power directly though, as the Primordials has made the Gods incapable of direct revolt.
As the Chosen fought against the Primordials with the help of the Gods two of the Primordials joined against their bretheren, Gaia and Autochthon. The Primordial War was hard fought and around half of the Primordials died, becoming Neverborn. These fallen Primordials were beings of immense power and Essence, unable to follow the natural cycle of rebirth they created for the lesser life. Their deaths and the subsequent Underworld that was created caused woes for Creation as Shadowland s were created and undead began to emerge.
The Chosen were able to then capture the remaining Primordials and banish them to Malfeas, created by taking the Primordial Malfeas, the once king, and turning him inside out to create the Demon City. The remaining Primordials were banished to this realm and became the Yozis.
