The Empty

The Empty the name for the sprawling, fuchsia and cerulean Skin Ash waste that Deja, and increasingly parts of Ishi Plateau have become since Convulsion Day . While The Empty is not entirely covered in skin ash, frequent ash winds have made it an extremely unpopular destination, and the area is quiet enough that people have reported being able to hear their own organs inside of them.
Several species, both sapient and otherwise, who had found homes in The Huge, Terrible Desert are said to have found a niche in The Empty. While there are verified reports of Huge, Terrible Goblin caravans headed into the area it is currently unknown what became of them.

Expidentition to The Empty are rare because of the inherent dangers, it has been rumored that Ishi settlements now consumed by blight are perfectly preserved, save for the discoloration and total lack of life.
It is unclear whether skin ash is what created The Empty of The Empty creates skinash. Either way, the two are tightly linked in popular imagination.
