Deja

Deja refers to the large area of land north of Kesholm, which traditionally is considered to extend what was once The River Kaiben. It is home to Deja, what was once considered the cosmopolitan center of the world.

Deja also refers to the state that existed in the land of Deja, and more generally the people from the region, who spoke Diji.

Since the Dejan Convulsion Deja has been believed to be devoid of life, and likely very busy with unlife. The specifics of the pre-convulsive Dejan ecosystem have been lost to time, and contemporary Dejan terrain is defined by the presence of skin ash, and it's not uncommon for people to refer to the entire area blighted with skin ash as Deja.
