Columbia

The landmass of the US became a series of islands when the Cataclysm flooded the planet creating the Columbian Archipelago, one large western land mass with a smaller eastern land mass  and several smaller islands.  These two landmasses have since grown in size during the waters' receding.

Localized Phenomena

Wendigo, Skinwalkers, Zombies, and other mysterious creatures roam this area displaced by the flooding from their homes predating the Ancient Ones.  These creatures are predatory of humans in nature but prefer singular prey unless desperate or threatened with the exception of zombies which seem constrained to Western Columbia and will attack anything with a heartbeat.
