Mr. Beardstone

Thegratin Beardstone

There is a rumbling of cogs, pounding of metal, and a man with a clipboard and goggles covering his eyes. Despite the clamor, he hears us enter and turns with a large grin, lifts up his goggles, and brushes some rubble out of his short beard.   "Welcome to Mr. Beardstone's Builds! I'm Mr. Beardstone, how can I help?"
Mr. Beardstone is an eclectic dwarven man, born and raised in the Overworld but with a deep fascination and respect for old Enderian technology. He is renowned for his ability to create buildings that are both functional and beautiful, and he experiments with contraptions made of gears and wheels (with an interest in expanding to steam power somehow).   While he does utilize some magic in his work, he considers himself a man of science and research, and endeavors to find ethical methods of production of core resources such as iron and materials without the need for magic or exploitation of the natural world that prevailed in the Overworld in the early times.   His rebuttal of the consolidated power of Iron This and other groups that abuse their monopoly to gather power and control has made him some quite powerful enemies. While he is not a fighter, his charisma, intelligence, and creativity give him the advantage of allies and the ability to direct them and their efforts in surprising ways.   He has been working on the idea of a land-based transportation network that is even faster than horseback and can carry far more materials and people than a carriage. Something called a "train"... it's only an idea for now, but he seems to be getting closer and closer to a prototype!   While strong and resilient in his line of work, he despises working at night and would sooner find a way out of a dangerous situation than face the monster head-on. He is also...abysmal at keeping steeds, despite his love for them. His surroundings are simply too cluttered, too active, and otherwise too dangerous to keep any horses of his own, but he will always try to befriend any animals he finds fascinating.

What a wonderful fellow! He feels exactly like the kinda grumpy uncle that loves to spend time in his garage just doing something creative.   Overall the article is very well done and im glad you could write it during WE :)

Yours truly, Nino.
