Those who have lost limbs, either in battle or simply were born that way, have the option of securing a customizable prosthetic. The design of these prosthetics is typically personalized to the individual, both aesthetically and functionally, though functionality tends to take priority.
Prosthetic arms are fully jointed and functional, and hands give full control and sensation if desired. The same goes for prosthetic legs and feet.
Most of the basic functionality has been cemented for a long time, but it's what the owner wants out of their prosthetic that makes them unique.
