Upon ascent, she was granted unbreakable marble like skin and magical powers over stone and earth. She was rumored to be in the court of the Covenant Highlord, but lost favor and was banished to take her current station. She is also rumored to have augmented her abilities via strange Convenant energy field sciences.

During the Trinity War, her already sparse Barony was devastated by attacks by the Engineer and is now referred to as The Barrens.

This nickname of her land, and her failure to protect it, is also often used mockingly to refer to her as well. Her enemies openly call her 'The Barreness' due to the fact has no offspring. In Covenant culture having children is of utmost importance and status.
