Description
General
Greer is a well-respected member of the town guard in Wandervale. He has a strong sense of justice and believes that those who are lawfully convicted should be shown no mercy. He has zero tolerance for law breaking and is unaware of much of the illegal happenings behind the local political scenes. If asked about Calvin, it becomes very clear that he does not like spiders. If asked about the war, he states that he opposes war in general, but believes that the war is his country's duty.
Mannerisms
He moves and speaks very formally and with smooth, deep tones.
Ideals
Justice. "Mercy for the wicked is injustice for the innocent."
Flaws
Spiders. "Ugh, they're such... vile little monstrosities."
Arachnophobia. Alexander becomes a frightened creature when he percieves a spider.
Actions
Spear. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) piercing damage or 5 (1d8 + 1) piercing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack.
Fire Breath. (Recharge 4-6) Breath Attack. 5 by 30 ft line. 2d6 fire damage, half on a Dex save of 11.
Relationships
Relationship Reasoning
Alexander is aware of that fact that Aisley's business isn't entirely above board but can't prove it and keeps his mouth shut as a result. Aisley admires his devotion to justice and agrees in premise, if not in method; thus, she thinks he's naive, but admires his ideal.
Relationship Reasoning
Alexander is incredibly afraid of any spider, but Calvin is particularly annoying to him since he keeps coming back.
Relationship Reasoning
Dolion is quite skilled at keeping many people, including Alexander, out of the loop of his activities. As such, Alexander believes him to be an honorable man, worthy of his position. Dolion values Alexander as an asset, but not as a person, and, knowing Alexander's thoughts on crime, will gladly keep him in the dark about his criminal life.
Relationship Reasoning
Alexander reminds Ivan of all the things he'd have liked to have in a son and everything he thinks his son-in-law lacks. The two are both hard workers in their respective fields and have a strong respect for each other for that reason among others.
Relationship Reasoning
These two have known each other since childhood and get along. Since Alexander is a member of the guard, Lucia has also personally helped make his armor before. Alexander, when off-duty, has also seen Lucia's acting and thinks she's quite good.
Relationship Reasoning
Before Sylvester joined the army, the two men served as guardsmen together. They've trained together, fought together, and watched together. The two have an almost absolute trust in each other and one's intense desire for justice is comparable only to the other's.
Relationship Reasoning
Tyron gives Alexander bad vibes, but he respects Lord Tyron's position of authority over him.
Relationship Reasoning
Vulcan frequently is the source for the leather portions of Alexander's armor. Vulcan respects Alexander for his work as a guardsman, and Alexander appreciates Vulcan's handiwork. The two don't always see eye-to-eye, but they're decent enough to each other.
Relationship Reasoning
While Chelsea's lifestyle makes it difficult for her and Alexander to keep in touch, they have a pretty deep respect for each other. However, they both disagree strongly about the war and arguments between them can get pretty heated.
Relationship Reasoning
Aiden and Alexander have known each other since they were little and worked together before Aiden joined the military. They have a mutual respect for each other; Aiden respects Alexander's hard work, and Alexander admires Aiden's ability to step up without hesitation, even if he was better at doing so before that came back to bite him. Homies!
