Rebuilding Efforts Post Reaper War

The activation of the Crucible generated an energy wave which, spreading via the mass relay network, destroying every Reaper in the galaxy. Confusion gave way to elation as it was realized, against all odds, the war would not end in extinction for the sapient species of the galaxy. The denizens of the galaxy could now recover and rebuild.

The Crucible's energy left the mass relays damaged and inert, stranding ships in whichever star cluster they happened to be located in at the time, and forcing each cluster to attempt to recover from the devastation of the war as best they could. In Sol, the remaining ships of the galactic alliance fleet helped in initial reconstruction of Earth, with Destiny Ascension's emergency Council facilities serving as the seat of Citadel government while Reapers repaired the Citadel itself. Turian forces in Sol, unable to be supplied by Earth's levo foodstocks, were supported by the output of quarian liveships.
