Mikado Nobunaga Oda (a.k.a. The Demon King)
Japanese warrior and government official who overthrew the shogunate, Nobunaga Oda was the proclaimed Mikado of Japan and ended a long period of feudal wars by unifying half of the provinces in Japan under his rule. Nobunaga, as virtual dictator, restored stable government and established the conditions that led to the unification of the entire country under the banner of the Empire of the Rising Sun. Nobunaga was the only one of the Warring States period to stand out as an innovative man ahead of his times. He discarded dated customs of no value and sought to revolutionize Japan with a variety of techniques.
