Rules for Roleplay

All of these rules will be decided in Session 0.

General

Private Sessions

Private sessions will happen sparingly, usually to cover character backstories or private conversations between players and NPCs when they occur and might take significant time or are heavily related to backstories.   It'll be up to the player in the session whether their session will be viewable by other party members or have a publicly posted summary.

Rolls Against Other Players

Checks such as deception, persuasion and insight can be used against another player. It's up to the player's discretion how this affects their character and they will be able to describe the outcome.

Player vs Player Combat

Up to the players and done only with consent. Must be discussed prior to the combat occuring. Reference the Character Specific section for more detailed Player vs Player requests.

Dice Rolls

Welcome! A succeeding/failing role is not mind control, and so long as that's mutually understood, I'm always welcoming to competing insight/deception rolls, etc.

Player vs Player Combat

YES. As long as it's pre-discussed, and falls short of killing him, I'm game. Narrative sense is the biggest thing to keep in mind here.

Romance

If PC/PC, do ask -- but if PC/NPC, full send as long as it develops organic.

Extra Roleplay Information

First: I tend to be A-OK with nearly anything, so long as it's discussed beforehand. Second: I tend to play snarky and relatively "not good" characters, with the goal for them to evolve into something kinder (or at least more classically honorable and stand-up) over time. If there's any any issues, please tell me!!
