Malak al Mohajer

A Malak al Mohajer is a predatory darkmorph resembling a tangle of sturdy vines with jagged purple thorns. Its coloration is mottled with brown, green, and yellow mold patches that flake and fall as the creature writhes through the air. The Malak al Mohajer's vines barely conceal two translucent, gas-filled sacks that act as balloons, enabling it to float along above the ground. Stretching from the creature's center are two longer vines that the Malak al Mohajer uses to capture its prey. An opening filled with rows of spiky thorns serves as the creature's mouth and is positioned on the creature's underside, where it constantly emits a wet, rancid stench. It can squirt a paralytic, self ambulatory slime from another of its bladders. This slime is also how the creature reproduces, and if not destroyed can grow into another Malak al Mohajer within a few weeks. A Malak al Mohajer typically grows to be over 3 feet long, and weighs about 20 kilos.
