Effendi Razid

Effendi Razid was a Firstcome patrician who was recruited by the Draconites. As first mate of the Marara, he used his substantial political connections to further Captain Hizir's mission. Parts of the life of a corsair suited him, the violence and hedonism of the lifestyle appealed to him. But, living on a cramped frigate did not, and by the time the Marara encountered the Yara, Razid was taking his misery out on the slaves.
It turned out to be his undoing. Effendi Razid was killed by Miraj al Sama on Melik.
