Mourning for Prof Benjamin Fabian aka Layla Al-Biruni

After Benjamin stayed away for the first time since we met without cancelling our round, which has now lasted for over 4 years every 2nd week, I was shocked to see his obituary. On 4 December 2024, he passed away suddenly and far too soon. Just a few days after our last gaming session with our group.
Benjamin was the player behind the character Layla Al-Biruni for over 4 years now, a role he enjoyed and invested a lot of time in and provided a seamless logbook for over 4 years. We had many hours together in the Coriolis universe and his sudden death is a shock to me personally and a loss of a creative and fun-loving person.
