A striking 6’ tall, golden-haired woman, Vessa exudes confidence and competence. She has a reputation for fearlessness compounded with good sense. Vessa in in excellent physical condition, her access to healing magic as made sure that none of her many injuries have left any perment medical problems or obvious disfigurement.

Vessa generally wears the formal Alyite Uniform: Scarlet cloak, scarlet surcoat over and tunic a breeches with black boots. She owns one formal dress, which was a gift from a former lover. Her only jewelry is her Alyite necklace and her magical ring.

Personal history
Vessa was the youngest of five children of a wealthy merchant from Jagobe. From a young age she showed a fascination with the Alyite Warriors she frequently saw in the city of her birth. From age nine she began to press her father and mother to let her join the Alyite Order. At first they though she would get over it, but her interest only increased with time. Concluding that their three other surviving children were sufficiently qualified to continue to run the family business they agreed to let her join the Order on her thirteenth birthday. Upon joining the order she proved herself to be an exceptional trainee and a born leader. She was soon picked to be trained as an officer and saw her first field service fighting at the first Battle of the Carddock Pass where she distinguished herself. Soon she was picked to join a small team lead by the renown Alyite Paladin Allestra Arrendmore. She was one of Allestra's warriors until Allestra's death and became the leader of the group. Since this time, she has continued to lead sensitive missions for the Order.

Vessa was tutored in mathematics and reading as a child. At age 13 she joined the Alyite Order where she began her military and religious training. Due to her literacy and leadership ability she was selected to be and ensign, thus receiving training to be an officer. Upon taking the oath to be a holy warrior she received additional religious education and training in magic.
Employment
A trainee of the Alyite Order at age 13 and three months later picked to trained as an officer and receiving the title of ensign. At 17 following the Battle of the Caddock Pass she was promoted to being a Lieutenant. Five years latter she became a Captain of Heavy Horse, but in reality has always held small independent commands.

She blames herself for the death of her mentor Allestra, believing she was not quick enough to come to her aid in battle.
